Sonya is a native of Iredell County living in Statesville with her husband, Lorne and her children Emalee, Nathan, and Jackson. Sonya graduated from South Iredell High School and attended Mitchell Community College. She received her North Carolina Real Estate license in 2008. She started her career in the legal field by interning with a law firm while in high school. Sonya worked for H. Thomas Church before taking time off to stay at home with her children. She returned to the legal field joining the law firm Ostwalt & Ralston where she was employed for four years before merging with RBBM. Sonya primarily handles domestic law.
In her spare time Sonya enjoys reading, a passion that she shares with her daughter, Emalee, who wants to pursue a major in literature. Sonya is also addicted to HGTV.
