Claudia attended Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC on an athletic scholarship where she competed as a Division I Cross Country and Track athlete. She graduated cum laude with a B.A. in English.


Claudia received her Juris Doctorate from Campbell University School of Law in Raleigh, North Carolina. While a student, she earned the Book Award in International Business Litigation & Arbitration, taught by Wake County Resident Superior Court Judge, Paul Ridgeway. She also reveiwed and contributed to the drafting of the book Navigating the First Year of Law School.


Upon graduation, Claudia began practicing law in Raleigh, North Carolina as in-house counsel for a property management company that owned and operated over forty (40) LIHTC properties across the state of North Carolina. While serving as in-house counsel, Claudia’s practice focused on fair housing, landlord-tenant laws, evictions, and LIHTC Compliance.


After joining Ralston Benton Byerley & Moore, Claudia has expanded her areas of practice and currently provides legal services in a variety of areas, including civil litigation, business law, child custody, and appellate work. Claudia is a member of the North Carolina State Bar and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
